Dear Reader: You are one member of a community of over 5,000 people. This community is comprised of alumni, students, faculty, and friends of the Wayne State University Law School and on the first day of each month you receive this electronic newsletter in your in-box. This is issue #32, and it will be the last for a little while. We have decided to make some changes to the newsletter, so you will not receive an e-Wayne Lawyer in January, 2007. We hope to send you the first edition of the revamped newsletter in early 2007. Some of the changes that we will make will be invisible to you: we are moving the database to a different server, for example. In other ways, I hope when you next receive the newsletter, you will see improvements. We are trying to make the size of the newsletter smaller, so it will take less space in your in-box. We want to have more links to the Law School’s website, so it will be easier for you to be aware of what is going on at the School, and to participate in the many exciting activities the School offers.

I also hope that the improvements that we will make will make it easier for you to change the address at which you receive the newsletter, to contact us, and to otherwise better manage your interaction with the publication and the School. If you have any comments, complaints, queries, or concerns, please let me know. Also, if you have any alumni news, which will continue as a recurring section in the new newsletter, please send that information to me. My name is Heidi Christein, and I have been writing and editing the newsletter since issue #2. Please contact me at my email: h.christein@wayne.edu. From all of us at the Law School, have a happy holiday season. And look for the e-newsletter in your in-box in early 2007.
